West Indies Squad Update: Alzarri Joseph aur Shai Hope Bangladesh Test series se bahar, Kevin Wickham ko mila maiden call-up
Cricket lovers, West Indies se ek bahut badi news aa rahi hai. Bangladesh ke khilaaf hone wali upcoming two-match Test series se pehle team ke squad mein kaafi bade badlav dekhe gaye hain. Sabse bada jhatka ye hai ki team ke star fast bowler Alzarri Joseph ko squad se hata diya gaya hai, aur saath hi white-ball ke captain Shai Hope ko bhi is series ke liye rest diya gaya hai.
Ye decision Cricket West Indies (CWI) ne player ke workload aur health ko dhyaan mein rakhte hue liya hai. Jabki fans Alzarri ko dekhne ke liye excited the, medical team ka manna hai ki Bangladesh ki pitches par fast bowlers ko bahut lambe aur high-intensity spells daalne padte hain. Isliye, injury ka risk kam karne ke liye unhe rest dena hi behtar hai. CWI ne saaf kiya hai ki ye sab players ki sahmati se kiya gaya hai.
Alzarri Joseph ke bina bowling attack kaisa rahega?
Alzarri Joseph ka squad se bahar hona team ke liye ek bada loss hai, kyunki wo attack mein jaan phoonk dete hain. Unki jagah ab allrounder Keemo Paul ko team mein shaamil kiya gaya hai. Ye dekhna interesting hoga ki kya Keemo Paul Joseph ki kami ko poora kar paate hain ya nahi. Alzarri pehle bhi Pakistan ke khilaaf series miss kar chuke hain, aur unka absence team ki bowling depth par asar daal sakta hai.
CWI ne bataya ki Alzarri white-ball cricket khelte rahenge, lekin red-ball cricket ke liye unhe pehle apni fitness aur workload manage karna hoga. Wo apne medical team ke saath milkar jald hi wapas lambe format mein lautne ki taiyari kar rahe hain.
Shai Hope ko kyu diya gaya rest?
Captain Shai Hope ke absence ki baat karein toh ye unke long-term career ke liye ek strategic move hai. Hope pichle kaafi samay se teeno formats mein khel rahe hain, jisse unka workload kaafi badh gaya tha. CWI unhe 2027 ke ODI World Cup qualifiers ke liye bilkul fresh aur fit dekhna chahti hai. Kyunki agle mahine West Indies ka koi white-ball schedule nahi hai, isliye ye rest unke liye kaafi beneficial ho sakta hai taaki wo upcoming bade tournaments ke liye taiyaar rahein.
Kevin Wickham: Ek naya star banne ko taiyaar?
Is poore squad announcement mein sabse zyada excitement 23-saal ke batter Kevin Wickham ko lekar hai. Unhe pehli baar Test squad mein bulaya gaya hai aur ye unke liye ek dream opportunity hai. Wickham ne domestic cricket, yani West Indies Championship mein aag laga di hai. Unhone teen consecutive innings mein 105, 153 aur 108 not out ke scores banaye hain. Unka average 78.60 ka hai, jo ki kisi bhi top-class batter ke liye ek bada statement hai. Agar wo is form ko Test cricket mein bhi maintain kar lete hain, toh West Indies ko ek naya match-winner mil sakta hai.
Iske saath hi, John Campbell ki bhi wapsi hui hai. Campbell hamstring injury se recover kar chuke hain aur unka wapas aana batting lineup ko aur mazboot banayega. Unki jagah pehle Kirk McKenzie ko mauka mila tha, lekin unhe khelne ka chance nahi mila.
Bangladesh Tour ka Schedule aur Team ki Taiyari
West Indies ki team 18 October ko Bangladesh pahunchegi, jahan wo 22 se 24 October ke beech ek warm-up match khelenge. Pehla Test match 28 October ko Dhaka mein shuru hoga, aur dusra match 5 November ko Sylhet mein khela jayega.
Team ke bowling attack mein Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales aur Shamar Joseph jaise experienced players honge. Spin department ko sambhalne ki zimmedari Jomel Warrican aur Joshua Bishop par hogi. Roston Chase team ki kaptani karenge aur unke paas Kavem Hodge jaise all-rounders ka support bhi hoga. West Indies ke liye ye series bahut important hai, kyunki unhe apni position behtar karni hai. Naye players aur purane veterans ka ye mix kya rang layega, ye dekhna kaafi exciting hoga.
